Hi, I'm Rachel, the creator of Made Past Five.
After long days at my full-time job as a graphic designer, I found myself drawn to the calm of evening projects and getting off of screens. What started as a way to unwind became a reminder of how much I loved learning, making, and creating something that was entirely my own.
How it came to be:

December 2023
My first pieces were macramé goods, given to family and friends as holiday gifts. I craved making more handmade items, so I dedicated my post-work hours to learning how to sew and taking on new projects.

December 2025
I began thinking about selling my creations. I thought up a brand name and designed my first logo, printing it as a sticker and putting it on my laptop as a reminder of the business I hoped to build someday.

February 2026
I was laid off from my 9–5 job. Instead of returning to the workforce, I decided this was the perfect time to pursue the business I had been dreaming about. Made Past Five was officially born!
